The beautiful Sarah Murdoch covers the August 2014 issue of Vogue Australia wearing a polka dot Dolce & Gabbana dress teamed with her own ballet shoes.
This gorgeous shoot photographed by Steven Chee and styled by Philippa Brophy features Murdoch alongside a class of young ballerinas wearing looks from Rochas, Stella McCartney, Alex Perry and Chloe. She chats with Vogue Editor Edwina McCann about her lifetime love affair with the arts, blossoming from a young age through until now where she was recently appointed a Director of the Australian Ballet.
I particularly enjoyed the story in this months issue about what exactly it takes to become the ‘Cara Delevingnes’ of the world in Girls, girls, girls. Right now, we are witnessing a new wave of supermodels in the industry who are filling the coveted positions such as that of the ‘Burberry girl’. Think Suki Waterhouse and Malaika Firth who are dominating the scene with their pro social media approach and fresh new looks.
Vogue also take us through a first look at the new season collections which feature, colour, coats, bold prints and strong tailoring in Kick Starter. Loving the monochrome Theory blazer!
