It’s the annual age issue for Harper’s Bazaar Australia with the spotlight on celebrating beauty at every stage in life.
Covering the August issue is the undeniably beautiful and talented Michelle Williams. She is wearing a stunning Louis Vuitton trench, for which she has just landed her second season as the face of the luxury brand. Williams poses in a series of images photographed by Peter Lindbergh and styled by Carine Rotifeld.
Being the age issue, the Bazaar team have curated an inspirational edit of pieces for women in every age bracket in If The Shoe Fits. For those ladies in their 20’s, you can expect cutting edge cool separates while for women in their 30’s, it’s all about soft tailoring and gentle colours. Moving into the 40’s, invest in sophisticated and structured basics which complement pieces selected for those women in their 50’s. Finally, rich colours and abundant luxury set the tone for your 60’s.
Speaking of an abundance of luxury, the Chanel resort-15 presentation was the epitome of indulgence. In Tres Sheikh, Harper’s Bazaar have taken a look inside of Karl Lagerfeld’s latest show for Chanel. If you thought he couldn’t top transforming Paris’s Grand Palais into a full-scale supermarket, think again. Set in a custom built pavilion on a desert island location in Dubai, this show has set the bar that bit higher which leaves us wonder, what will he do next??
In the Age Old Story, Bazaar sat down with inspirational women from every vintage to discuss life and the lessons they have learned so far on their journey. We hear from quintessential cool girl Solange Knowles, supermodel and mother Lara Stone, the very talented Robin Wright and Rita Wilson and finally, the ageless Charlotte Rampling. A fantastic read about fantastic women.
